Tamás was born in Kapuvár on February 4, 1983.
1983-1997 His affection towards singing originates from his father whose choir history was a great influence. Tamás was introduced to classical music by accompanying his father to choir performances. At primary school his attention turned towards light music, as he began improvising on songs he heard on the radio. In 1995 he joined the school choir as soprano, later as alto. When his voice broke he began singing tenor in the Haydn mixed choir in Kapuvár, where his father is a senior bass, and the choir won prizes in various choir competitions in Hungary and abroad. Until 2007 he regularly took part in the Christmas concerts in Kapuvár as a vocalist or as lead singer with solos or duets.
1997-2001 Tamás continued his studies at Csukás Zoltán Vocational School in Csorna. In 2000, at the age of 16 he founded his first local band. He also buys his first professional keyboard, and receives his first introduction to harmony by his musician friend Gábor Német, so apart from singing he also becomes the keyboard player in the band.
In 2001 he decides to take singing more seriously and deepens his knowledge at the local music school. In 2002 at the singing competition of the “Kisfaludi Napok” County Art Festival held in Győr he receives a gold diploma in pop-rock category. In the same year he is admitted to Dr. Lauschmann Gyula Jazz Vocational school where he studies jazz-singing coached by Krisztina Pocsai, Barnabás Pély and Noémi Kiss. It is in this institution that the listens to the music of Curt Elling for the first time, which strengthens his dedication to jazz singing. In 2003 he joins Hanság Big Band as lead singer and the band receives a gold diploma by the Hungarian Jazz Association. After his conservatory studies he starts working as a vocal coach at the department of light music of the Hangfestő Elementary Art School. After an unsuccessful application to the Music Academy in Budapest Tamás decides to continue his studies at the Erkel Ferenc Jazz Vocational School for another year to improve his skills and prove he is fit for admission in the Academy. In 2007 he even spends a short period studying jazz singing at the Music Academy in Vienna.
2008 is a turning point in his life as he is admitted to the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy and continues his studies in jazz singing. His singing teachers, Ágnes Lakatos, Tamás Berki and Katalin Szűcs, and other teachers reinforce his dedication to jazz.
